Seven senior girls from Lake Brantley High School in Troop 6 earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award. Lorena Vilela, Jensen Werley, Nicole Meadows, Abigail Nabors, Brooke Bolton, Molly Rosenberg, and Maggie Efta worked together to creat educational sidewalk paintings around Sabal Point Elementary School in Longwood. The sidewalk art covered topics from music to science and required over 500 hours to complete. The Gold Award is equivalent to the Boy Scout Eagle Award and less than 6% of Girl Scouts reach that level. Congratulations on this contribution to our community and an outstanding achievement!
