Dear Parent/Guardian:


Our freshmen orientation program at Lake Brantley, Link Crew, is designed to help our students make the transition to high school more successful. Your student won’t want to miss this special day designed just for them on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

If your student can attend, please complete registration form and return it to Donna Comerer by Tuesday, August 4, 2009. This information is essential for planning the day and activities. We hope that your student will be able to attend. A confirmation of your received registration will be mailed to you the week before orientation.

Traditional pre-school processing will be held directly after the Orientation in the Media center on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. Yearbook pictures, photo ID pictures and textbook distribution will occur on that day. There will be food and drinks sold in the courtyard beginning at 12:00 noon for those who don’t want to go home in between the orientation and pre-school processing.

Parents: we have something for you, too! While your students are participating in their planned activities, you are welcome to join us for the 3rd annual PTSA “Breakfast at Brantley” in the auditorium lobby where a continental breakfast will be served. Then it’s on to the auditorium to learn more about navigating the uncharted waters of Lake Brantley High School. You won’t want to miss out on this opportunity to receive valuable information and meet the personnel who can assist you during your student’s first year!
