The 2011 Florida Legislative Session ended May 6, 2011, and Governor Scott signed bills that affect 2011-12 high school seniors who wish to earn a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship. Please click here for more information.

The Lake Brantley Jefferson Awards Team placed second in the national competition in Washington DC. On Tuesday, June 21, the students were recognized in a ceremony held at the National Museum. They were recognized in the same ceremony as former NFL star Warrick Dunn, former Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox Owner Jerry Reinsdorf. This is the third year the students have been to the national ceremony but the first year they have placed in the top three. Congratulations to the team! FCAT Reading, Math, and Science results have arrived. The Parent/Student Reports are available for pickup in the front office beginning Thursday, June 16th and ending Thursday, June 23rd. Results may be picked up in the front office from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. You can also pick up your child’s report card as well.

Seminole County Public Schools will be hosting the 15th annual Advanced Placement Studio Art Students art show at the AAA building (1000 AAA Drive Heathrow, FL) 32746 on April 6th from 7-9 P.M. The show will run form April 6th to April 26th.

Students will be coming home with report cards today, March 31st.

Pizza Hut locations on Hunt Club, 436, and 434 will be holding a Lake Brantley fundraiser on Thursday, March 17. 20% of your delivery or carryout order anytime on Thursday will be donated back to Lake Brantley! You will need to show a fundraiser flyer or your student ID to participate. The funds that are raised will go to Lake Brantley’s PTSA, which provides programs for all students and scholarships for seniors.
