There are many fine senior students at Lake Brantley High School. The PTSA Proud Patriot Award is an opportunity to honor students who may not otherwise be recognized. We are searching for students who have demonstrated a solid commitment to LBHS. These students, through their example, reflect the best of what Lake Brantley has to offer. The student(s) will receive a monetary award at the LBHS Senior Awards Ceremony.
We want your input and nominations! The LBHS PTSA is looking for seniors who are deserving of this monetary award. These seniors have made a difference in the Lake Brantley community and/or the community at large. Scholastic achievement is a consideration, but not the primary criteria. Additional criteria for the award include the following:
Sports Information Night with LBHS Athletics Staff for Incoming and returning student athletes and parents on Thursday April 23rd in the Community Room at 7PM. Everything you need to know about all of the Lake Brantley's sports programs. From athletic forms/paperwork, to coaching, staff, tryouts, and information on summer conditioning. !19th Annual Seminole County Public Schools’ Advanced Placement Art Show at the AAA Headquarters, 1000 AAA Drive in Heathrow from April 1 - April 21.
Opening Reception - Wednesday, April 1st, from 7 to 9PM.
This free event will showcase the artwork, both 2D and 3D, of all of the seniors in the SCPS High School AP Studio Art programs.
The exhibit will be on display in the lobby/atrium during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
Our LBHS AP Studio Art students will be recognized at the event Wednesday night. Please join us!

SEMINOLE STATE COLLEGE’S SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING, DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE ITS THIRD ANNUAL NSF SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAM! STUDENTS WILL EARN COLLEGE CREDIT WHILE EXPLORING A HANDS-ON PROJECT-BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR ONE WEEK! THE COURSE IS BEING OFFERED JUNE 1ST – 5TH ON THEIR HEATHROW CAMPUS. THIS YEAR STUDENTS WILL EXPLORE 3D MODELING/DESIGN, 3D PRINTING AND ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES WHILE CONDUCTING AN ON-SITE PROJECT/EXPERIMENT. Tutoring is available every Tuesday and Thursday in the Media Center from 2:35 to 4:05. The following subjects are offered: Algebra 1, Geometry, Physics, Astronomy, English, Reading, Social Studies, Spanish and ACT tutoring.
On April 2nd at 10 am the University of Alabama - Birmingham will be visiting us. Sign-ups are in Building 8.
