Listen up class of 2012, it is time to get ready for powder puff! Any juniors interested in playing or coaching need to come to the meeting next Thursday, the 26th at 2:30 in the community room.
Auditions for the one act musical….tick, tick….boom! Are being held next Tuesday after school in the auditorium. Please prepare two 16-bar pieces, one being a ballad and the other being a monologue. A one-minute monologue is also required. To sign up for an audition time, or if you have any questions, please see Mrs. Jordan in room 3-019.
Freshmen: please pick up your photo I.D. in the media center! If you did not have your picture taken during pre-school processing, you will need to have a photo I.D. made!!
Link leaders: please pick up the information sheets on your freshmen in portable 5 or the principal’s office between classes. You need to make contact with your freshmen as soon as possible.
There will be a mandatory meeting Monday immediately after school in the community room for all seniors who are interested in participating in powder puff this year.
Students…don’t forget to buy your “all sports pass” before the first game. For $50.00 you can get in all the regular season home games for every sport, all year long. Bring your money and Lake Brantley student I.D. to Mrs. Duncan in the athletic office.
There will be a girl’s soccer player meeting Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the student center. Don’t miss it. There will also be a player/parent meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the media center. Make sure you let your parents know.
There will be a meeting Tuesday for all boys and girls interested in wrestling in portable 12 next to building 8.

Student planners are on sale in the building 8 office during the day or in room 7-210 before or after school. The cost is $5.00.
Hey patriots!! CFE is putting some money on the line to see which class is really into helping the community. CFE and the Brantley branch are main sponsors for a gift for teaching’s 2010 push campaign. Each class will be collecting school supplies for students in need. The class that brings in the most of their designated items will receive a donation of $500 into their class fund from CFE federal credit union. Classes are assigned the following items…seniors – spiral notebooks and packs of paper; juniors – pencils and pens; sophomores – erasers and crayons and freshmen – folders and binders. Please drop off all supplies in the Brantley branch from now until September 3rd.

Attention all freshmen! Are you interested in becoming a student leader and making decisions that will benefit the class of 2014? Then you should consider running for freshmen student council. Information and applications are available starting today and can be picked up in Mr. Sherman’s room, 7-210. Applications are due this coming Friday to Mr. Sherman and you must plan on attending a campaign meeting after school on that day.
Attention all thespian, drama department members, and anyone who is interested in theatre. The Lake Brantley Players are having their first meeting of the year today after school in room 3-019. Come learn about our new season, open house and much more!!
Yearbooks will be on sale at open house for $65.00. They will also be for sale in room 8-224 during 5th period beginning September 3rd for $70.00. Any questions, please call 407-746-3443 or come by room 8-224 during 5th period.

Bowling tryouts are all this week at Altamonte Lanes at 3:00 pm. Please see coach Ticy Schaffer in room 5-008 if you need a ride to the bowling alley.
The slow pitch softball team will be holding tryouts today at the Brantley South softball complex.. Girls who are interested should stop by room 7-227 and talk to coach Ferrell.

A baseball meeting will be held today in the cafeteria at 2:35 for those athletes that are not playing a fall sport. If you are playing a fall sport, stop by room 5-204 and see coach Smith or coach Hall in room 5-025.
All freshmen girls interested in playing volleyball need to contact coach Drake in room 5-210 after school in the gym by today.

All prospective swim team members will have a meeting today at 2:30 at the swimming pool. Please plan on staying 30 minutes. Actual swim practice will begin Wednesday and will take place daily from 3 to 5:30 Monday through Friday. All students interested in swimming or diving are encouraged to attend.
